Ipsen Honored with Justice for Homicide Victim's Highest Award:
The Ellen Griffin Dunne Award
Justice for Homicide Victims (JHV) recognized ADDA President Ipsen's two decades long commitment to public safety of and victim's rights when it honored him on Sunday, April 22, 2007. Ipsen was given the prestigious Ellen Griffin Dunne Award. The award is given to one person each year who has shown exceptional leadership and dedication to victims rights.
Following the event, Ipsen said that he was particuarly honored to be put in the same category as past years recipients including:
- Senator David Drieier (2006)
- Governor Jerry Brown (2005)
- Governor Gray Davis
- Governor Pete Wilson
